things to note
we will accept as one track, up to 48 mono audio files, maximum length six minutes. larger projects may mean we will revise the fee, by agreement.

you should aim to provide consolidated audio files with an identical start time. ProTools sessions can be accepted but we cannot guarantee plug-in or format compatibility.

you might want to render any plug-in processing you feel is appropriate. just contact us if you are unsure about making these decisions.

it's always useful to provide a rough mix, written notes or audio references to help Simon understand your vision and expectations.

Simon will complete a finished stereo mix to his satisfaction and your brief, and you will have the opportunity to request changes i.e. one revision of the mix. you will also receive stem mixes.

you'll want Simon to concentrate on mixing your music. so your audio/session should be clearly set out and well labelled. any editing, tidying or other pre-mix work that we have to do will seriously impact on your mix time!

we'll return the mix, the revised mix if required, and stem mixes to you. further revisions, other mixes or changes can always be accommodated, but we will charge you at our normal studio hourly rate.

we generally work at the professional standard of 48k/24bit for digital audio.

a word about mastering
Simon will deliver a 'clean' pre-mastered mix and a 'loud' finalised mix that you can use as you see fit. neither of these should be considered as 'mastered'. this is a separate process with a number of creative and technical variables. talk to us for further information about this, or any of our other pro-audio services..
